Brian Swords is the Managing Member of BLS Ag Futures, LLC, a commodity-trading advisor registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). He was registered with the CFTC as an associated person of McVean Trading & Investments, LLC from November 1988 until June 2013. Originally from Kentucky, Brian grew up in the family feeder cattle business where he learned the fundamentals of the meat markets. Brian received his bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from the University of Kentucky. He began his career performing cattle research and analysis in 1987. His commodity-trading advisory firm specializes in live and feeder cattle.
